You can animate three air standard cycles. Use the radio buttons to toggle between engine and plot types. If you change parameters such as compression ratio remember to REPLOT the cycle. Use the NEXT_CYCLE_STEP button to animate each process in the cycle in turn. You can CLICK ANYWHERE on the process plot to get the local values of p, v, T, u, h, s at the point of interest(tabulated below the plot). The ADD PROCESS PLOT drop down box allows you to plot curves through the POI for comparison against the cycle. Elsevier provide a useful set of articles concerning air standard cycles .
