This page helps you experiment with the thermodynamic states of moist air in an air conditioning unit. A larger screen (say 24 inches) is recommended.

Specify the barometric pressure here: mbar.
Click within the canvas below to create a POINT OF INTEREST (POI, shown as a small redcircle). If you click in the wet steam region, to the left of the saturation line, the POI will be shifted onto the saturtion line. Aspects of the thermodynamic state are printed near the top of the plot area.
Air temperature (T) and relative humidity are set in the text boxes. Pressing CALC produces saturation pressure for T (pg) and the partial pressure of steam (RH*pg)

The PLOT ISOBAR button puts a curve of constant steamp pressure through a POI. The PLOT ISOTHERM button plots a horizontal line of constant pressure. Clicking on PLOT SYMBOL, leaves a X at the POI.

Highlight a symbol or curve by clicking on its handle (o-shape). Press DELETE to remove the highlighted item.
